This page documents how Hire a Mural Artist (hiremuralartist.com) collects consent for one-time SMS verification codes — for transparency and for messaging-compliance review. SMS is used only to verify that a business owner controls the phone number on their directory listing. It is never used for marketing.

How you opt in
Consent is active and user-initiated. Nothing is pre-selected, and no message is ever sent unless you take these steps yourself:
- Open your business listing on hiremuralartist.com.
- Select “Text me a verification code.”
- Confirm the mobile phone number already shown on your listing.
- We send a single one-time passcode by SMS; enter it on the site to verify ownership.
What you agree to
By selecting “Text me a verification code” and confirming your number, you agree to receive a one-time verification passcode by SMS from Hire a Mural Artist at the number shown on your listing. This is a single, transactional message sent only because you requested it — you are not enrolled in any recurring or promotional texting program.
Message frequency, rates & opt-out
- Message frequency: One message per request — you receive a code only when you ask for one. This is not a recurring or marketing program.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
- Help: Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us.
- Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You’ll receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages.

Your privacy
