Taylor Made Murals Mural in Denver, CO

The Story

About This Mural

A large adult elephant and calf dominate this wildlife-focused mural, rendered in detailed grayscale tones that emphasize their textured skin and expressive eyes with warm amber irises. The scene places the pair within an African savanna landscape, complete with golden grasses, a purple-flowering acacia tree silhouetted against a warm sunset sky, and lush green vegetation in the foreground. The composition combines realistic animal portraiture with a stylized landscape, creating a connection between the local community in Thornton and the natural world through accessible, representational artwork.
