The Story
About This Mural
This vibrant postcard-style mural celebrates Hayden, Connecticut with bold lettering and regional imagery that spans the entire composition. The design features the word "Hayden" in large, dimensional letters filled with scenic views including a red barn, historic architecture, and rolling green hills, flanked by red flowers on the left and a monarch butterfly on the right. Rendered in bright blues, greens, golds, and reds against a sky-blue background, the mural captures the character of the area with the tagline "The Land of the Sleeping Giant" and traditional "Greetings from" lettering in a style reminiscent of vintage travel postcards.
