The Story
About This Mural
A series of photorealistic portraits depicting four young women gazes outward from this expansive mural in downtown Charlotte. The artist rendered each figure in detailed grayscale tones, contrasting them against a bright blue background and accented with geometric shapes in warm golds and oranges that frame the subjects' faces and shoulders. The composition celebrates the diversity and presence of women in the community, with the figures positioned at varying angles that create a sense of movement and connection across the building's facade.
